Intercessory Prayer
We believe that Jesus sits at the right hand of God making intercession for us according to Romans 8.34. We are His beloved bride and He will fight for us! He will also give revelations and strategies to reach our generation, stand and take back what has been stolen from us.
Intercessory prayer is one of many types of prayer. When we intercede in prayer, we are coming to God with the prayers and needs on behalf of others. At The Altar, we most often pray this type of prayer where intercessors and musicians are flowing together with the heart of God concerning an issue.
As we we come into agreement with the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, we are able to pray according to the Father’s heart on a matter. We believe that as we do this, the prayers we pray will be answered because we are praying according to God’s will.
